Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn has been an actress for over 20 years. Her most famous role is Skyler White on the AMC Drama Breaking Bad, for which she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and 2014 in the category of Outstanding Supporting actress in a Drama Series. Alongside her roles as Martha Bullock and Jean Ward, she has appeared in The Practice. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell attracted to acting during Preparatory before her Family moved to Ohio. She spent a year at the British American Drama Academy and studied theatre in the theatre department at Northwestern University. Anna began her career with Chicago-area theaters for a short time. Then she moved to TV and film. Anna's first big character was Arden as she appeared in Down the Shore. She appeared on 29 episodes. Anna continued appearing in films and television shows like Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and other shows until the end of 1990's. Then she was cast in The Practice as Jean Ward. Martha Bullock played two full seasons of Deadwood that was shot during the middle 2000's. In 2008 she was cast as Skyler as Skyler in Breaking Bad. Sully and Deadwood was a different film that she was a part of. Gunn has also appeared on the stage starring in the David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. In 2022 the actress also was a part of a four-part audio play podcast called"Numbered Days. Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's marriage to Skyler. Walter White's life story as well as the stress on the relationship he has with Skyler can be seen in the series.
